Sedation Options We Offer

We currently provide two forms of sedation to fit a wide range of needs and comfort levels:

1. Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

This mild inhaled sedative helps you feel relaxed and light—often with a sense of euphoria or calm. It takes effect within minutes and wears off quickly after your appointment.

Nitrous is often ideal for patients undergoing cleanings, fillings, or other minimally invasive treatments.

2. Oral Conscious Sedation

For patients with deeper anxiety, oral sedation offers a stronger calming effect. You’ll take a prescribed pill before your appointment, helping you feel drowsy, deeply relaxed, and less aware of the procedure.

• Deeper relaxation than nitrous
  
• You’ll remain awake but at ease
  
• Someone must drive you to and from your visit
  

This is a popular choice for extractions, crowns, implant placement, or longer appointments.
