Where It All Started
Dr. Patel was born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He came to the United States as a first-generation immigrant and was deeply shaped by watching his father sacrifice a career as an engineer to provide for his family. His parents made one thing clear: education was the way to build a life.
He went on to earn all three of his degrees at the University of Florida. A proud triple Gator, at UF he completed his Bachelor's, a Master of Public Health in Health Management and Policy, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His public health background guides him every day as he’s not just here to treat teeth, but to improve lives.
The Dentist He Set Out to Be
Dr. Patel's expertise spans general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He is known for highly personalized care, thorough precision, and an artistic eye for smile transformation. He likens dentistry to Formula 1 racing: technology, precision, and efficiency work together to get the best possible result. For him, one-millimeter matters.
He is committed to building a guest experience the Tampa Palms community can trust and be proud of. Dr. Patel’s goal is to give back what was given to him, through sponsoring local events, supporting educational opportunities, and simply showing up for his guests every single day.

He loves spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys exploring the city, trying new restaurants, catching live sports and concerts, watching Formula 1 racing, and free-time recommendations from his dental family.
